@SimonWoods That's an interesting thought that "regular people have no interest whatsoever in the lightning-fast progress of technology, compared to hobbyists." I would add to that tech geeks, like myself, easily distracted by the shiny and new - like a magpie. My wife fits in the regular people category. She can't understand my lust for the latest and greatest tech.
